Substitution Rules:
Basketball A League Sub Rule: If you have 5 players or less. You are entitled to a sub. If you play with 5 and a player gets injured, you will need to play with 4.
One who is entitled to get a sub can select a player drafted in ANY round below the best player missing assuming the player is the same type of player (guard for guard, forward for forward, big man for big man) and is a clearly of lesser talent, with approval by Mikey. Ample time must be provided for sub approvals.
Any sub suggestion sent to Mikey after 4pm the night of the game may not get responded to in time and may lead to you not getting a sub so please ensure the sub is available prior to the request.
Mikey will not reconsider a request he believes is not fair. Holding out for that will lead you to not having a sub.
Basketball B League Sub Rule: A team with less than 6 players can get a sub from any other player in the B league as long as it's approved by Mikey. The sub request must be received no later than 5:30pm the night of the game and the substitute player must be of lesser or equal talent AND the same position as the player missing.
